The Transcript Archive of Nalanda Monastery Edit Print E-mail

This archive is freely available to those with a sincere interest to study and transform themselves through the teachings of the Buddha in order to benefit all sentient beings.

The transcripts here are those used by students at Nalanda in order to revise class material and prepare themselves for discussion and debate during the 5-year residential study program. They will eventually cover 12 of the major texts of the Gelugpa tradition, and be an integral element in order to provide a balanced approach to the academic education and the practice of meditation that characterizes the Gelugpa tradition. The study program has been structured around a schedule of teachings and discussion groups alternated with meditation in order to encourage the integration of the teachings into one’s practice and daily lives.

The program began in February 2008 and is taught by our most precious Abbot Geshe Losang Jamphel and assisted by Venerable Fedor Stracke.

This archive will develop as the program continues. If you have any questions regarding the study program, or you need any assistance obtaining the transcripts, please contact Nalanda Monastery by email from their website here.

Thank you for your interest in these teachings. May your own life and the lives of all sentient beings benefit from them.
